I was thinking to myself while we were grocery shopping that I should buy myself some Peets coffee for my birthday, now that it can be found on the east coast. But then we got to the coffee aisle and this was on sale. Starbucks may call its Italian roast coffee “potent” and “bold,” but I just saw the scooter on the label. Happy birthday to me.*
*Technically, my birthday is tomorrow, but I cheated and opened my present to myself today.

Happy birthday, Crystal! I was going to shower you with messages to celebrate tomorrow, and make you wonder how I knew it was your birthday. But now that you’ve announced it, there’s no reason to hold back. Be happy, be healthy and enjoy your own new year ahead.

Happy Birthday Crystal. I’m visiting VT from NJ and it is beautiful. Consider yourself lucky to live here. The snow is falling today (in Manchester) and I’m lovin’ it. Have a wonderful birthday and thanks for your posts..they keep me going through the winter.

Happy birthday, you new year baby. I had emailed you happy birthday before visiting Girlbike, but there’s no way to prove that. Like you, my father was born on January 1st, like we talked about a few years ago, several decades before you. His birth year was 1930, which made it easy to calculate what his age would be. Hope you have a healthy and prosperous 2008 and beyond.
