For 2008, Shoei offers the beautiful pink and black Shoei TZ-R Vogue helmet (it also comes in black and silver). Listing for about $420, it can be found at Motorcycle Superstore and other stores for about $375.

While one of the least expensive in the Shoei line-up, Webbikeworld.com calls the TZ-R “one of the quietest helmets [they’ve] tried.” This is generally attributed to the design of its venting system.

Beautifully embellished with pink flowers and scrolls of vines, the TZ-R Vogue has to be one of the prettiest pieces of safety gear out there. Wouldn’t this be nice to find under the tree this year?

Monday June 11 is the day Robyn Meddings’ life changed. That day, due to a motorcycle accident, the longtime Rosemount resident sustained a traumatic brain injury. She also lost her partner of 16 years, Jerome Caron, in the accident.
