I got a letter yesterday from Alix Bryan, the woman who is traveling around the U.S. on a Buddy 125 in the name of peace. She’s ridden over 7,500 miles and has 3,500 miles to go - and even though she’s received many donations and offers of meals and housing along the way, she needs more help to finish her peace project. Feel free visit her site and send her a donation - every little bit helps!
For my part, I decided to do a limited-edition version of the scooter seat cover that I made for her as a gift (see above). I’m making 10 peace-sign scooter seat covers, for any scooter model I happen to make scooter seat covers for, and 50% of these 10 sales go straight to Alix to help cover her expenses. For more info, and to find out how to order, go to scooterseatcovers.com.

She looks like Amelia Earhart here…a pioneer in her own right!
Very nice of you to do this. You are quite a charitable person, Crystal! Hope you get lots of good karma from everything that you.
I believe she was in Pasadena 9-25, I was passing through Pasadena via Colorado Blvd and noticed a scooter of the same bundled effect on a Buddy of the same color parked in front of the U.S. Post office. What a great adventurous and may her travels safe and rewarding.
Alix *does* look like Amelia Earhart! check out pics:

That was Audre parked out front of the Post Office. I am progressively lightening the load! NOHO Scooters put me up for a couple of nights-that’s why I was in Pasadena. Small world!
Peace.
That is very kind of you to donate to Alix. Even thought I don’t have a scooter your seatcovers are wonderul, I’m awed that you make each one of them.
