my 1998 trip to India

I came across a photo that I took on the trip I made to India back in 1998. I was invited to be a speaker and an instructor at the first ever India Internet World, and then stayed in the country for an additional couple of weeks. I wasn’t into scooters then, but I did get a few photos of traffic like this one, which showed more scooters and bikes than cars. The very first photo I took upon arriving in New Delhi was a photo of the road from the rooftop of the hotel, above.

As soon as the conference was over, we spent a couple of weeks traveling, starting by taking a train trip (via one of the infamous ‘toy trains‘) up to the Himalaya hill station of Simla in Himachal Pradesh. Just a couple more photos:
