anniversary flashback: my little yellow Honda Metropolitan photo gallery

I was going through the girlbike archives and realized that I don’t really have a very prominent link to the gallery I’d made a few years ago of my Honda Metropolitan II, so here it is. This brief gallery shows photos almost from the day I first got it and shows most accessories I added to it in its brief life. I thought I’d post it here in case any Metropolitan owners would like to see some of the additions you can spend your hard-earned money on, and also just for fun. I miss the little thing.
And just now, as I started typing, I realized that I totally missed my scooterversary this year. So this is a double flashback to celebrate the scooter that started it all. I hope you enjoy going through it as much as I did.

I remember those photos of your solar Met like it was yesterday….
The ninth photo in your stream at the bottom shows measurements of the Honda Met basket along with your comment,
“A Vino owner asked me if I would mind measuring my Metro basket to see if it would fit in her scooter. It hauls quite a bit for such a small space.”
I was that Vino owner & I believe it was the beginning of our online friendship.
I took the plunge and bought a Honda Met basket and installed it on my 2003 Vino 50.
The rest belongs in the National Historic Museum of Scooter Bling.
