Over the weekend, Josh Rogers from Scoot! Magazine was seriously injured in a head-on collision. For more details, there are tons of posts all over the ‘net now, from threads on ModernVespa and ScooterBBS, posts on The Scooter Scoop and 2strokebuzz. April from Scoot! Magazine has also posted updates on the magazine blog. A fund has been set up at ScooterRelief.org to help with expenses.

As bad as I felt reading about the terrible accident that took Josh down, I was was equally uplifted to know I am a member of a wonderful community of rider snd writers who care enough to share our stories and send the money to support one of their own in a crisis. I just contributed to Josh Rogers’ fund through the Chip In link to PayPal on the Scooter-Relief.org page. It was easy and it made me feel more useful than just reading about Josh’s plight with no way to help. May Josh enjoy a full and fast recovery. And may we all give thanks that we read and ride as one. Scoot safe, friends.

OMG! Poor guy! After seeing that car, he is so lucky to be alive! I hope his healing goes fast. You’re right, Wendy! It’s wonderful how people jump in to help.
