International Female Ride Day announced
Published by Crystal February 19th, 2008 in rallies & events.
Motoress has announced that May 2, 2008 is this year’s International Female Ride Day. Mark your calendars - the mission of the day is to have women worldwide all ride on May 2 to “demonstrate their enjoyment of motorcycle riding.” Scooterists are also encouraged to participate, and it’s expected that local events and rides will again be planned.
The 2007 event was the first one, and was targeted toward Canadian riders. The buzz got around, though, and people all over the world took part in the event.
Motoress.com is a web site dedicated to women and motorcycling.

This looks like a lot of fun and the snow should be clear that I can go riding! And here’s a link to the Just Ride page: http://www.motoress.com/femalerideday2008.asp
I was hoping to find a larger copy of the poster - it would be cool to print out and post at work and on the mall in Boulder and Nederland.
Well, funny, I was thinking my trip would start May 1-but why not make a statement and start on May 2?! Awesome
I’ve been following girlbike for some time now, and i love it.
This initiative is really good to raise awareness, and i will have my part on May 2nd, so that more women in Portugal start to ride scooters.
