We stopped and got gas today, and these were the prices shown on the pump. This is ONE reason to buy premium gas for your scooter, right?

Wow - but that would be enough to make your heart skip a beat, wouldn’t it? We’ve been paying $2.69 for regular unleaded out here and I’ve been fussing enough about that!

You know, if things keep going the way they are that first number may become reality. Then I guess the whole world will have to start scooting.
That reminds me of The Price is Right game where the first numeral in the car price used to be a 2 or 3, when I watched that show as a kid. By the time gas is 9-something a gallon, minimum wage will be like $18 an hour. Minimum wage this July is supposed to go up to $6.55, then $7.25 by July, 2009, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minimum_wage_in_the_United_States. A gallon of gas seems to be about half that amount.
