girlbike “new-to-you” giveaway 5:
$20 gift certificate from scooter seat covers
Published by Crystal December 2nd, 2007 in giveaway, scooter seat covers.
I haven’t had time to take pictures of other items I’d like to give away, so I cheated and decided to put up a $20 scooter seat cover gift certificate instead.
The new-to-you giveaway #5 winner can use it themselves or give it away (I can put your name in the ‘from’ area rather than mine, as shown in the sample, right)… the winner can just let me know how to fill it out, where to send it, and off it goes! It’s good for $20 off any custom scooter seat cover order, and makes a great stocking stuffer.
scooter seat covers are a unique affordable and fashionable way to dress up your scooter. Practical as well as beautiful, they help keep your scooter seat warmer in winter and cooler in summer. All scooter seat covers are removable and washable, and there are nearly 100 fabrics in stock to choose from. Each scooter seat cover has reinforced seams, reinforced key and hook holes (if applicable), and an adjustable elastic fastener for a secure, tailored fit.
Just like previous giveaways, there are no strings attached, just leave a comment on this post telling us why you’d like it. You’ll have to wait to have your comment approved if you’ve never left a comment here before (to prevent spam comments). We’ll pick the winner Saturday, December 8, post the lucky person’s name here, and then you’ll need to send us your mailing address (don’t post it in the comment). If we don’t hear from you by Monday, Dec. 10, it goes to the next person. Good luck!
Do you have something scooter or motorcycle related that’s in great shape but you don’t want it any more? Maybe you don’t want to just throw it out, but are too lazy to put it up on ebay? Are you willing to pay shipping to give it a good home and to make another girlbike.com reader happy? Write to me at crystal
girlbike.com and tell me about it and maybe we’ll have another new-to-you giveaway featuring your item!

I would like to give my scoot a new look for Christmas, and I want to look cool. Thanks for reading.
Hey! I’d love to have a scooter seat cover gift certificate! My scooter is my sole method of transportation, and I’d love to have anything that will give me some extra warmth on those “tender tissues” as I scoot through these freezing Illinois winter days! Plus, how cool would Scooty Puff Jr. look with a dashing new seat cover?
~Alisha~
I’d love a scooter seat cover gift certificate too. There are only so many accessories and ways to bling out the Vino 125, but a Crystal seat cover is truly the most eye catching and fun way to do it!
Thanks for doing another great giveaway!
Now that I have my new leopard trim jacket I’ve started to think about how a leopard seat cover would make my scoot look even sleaker and faster! A gift certificate would be Fabulous to help make that happen.
I am the proud owner of a brand new Genuine Buddy (two days new!), my first scooter, and I have a sad, sad story. My husband and I decided that we wanted to scoot around San Francisco on a shiny red scooter, so we took the motorcycle safety course together, and I was very proud when I passed! …But he didn’t.
After waiting for him to test again (yes…he passed) and get his certification, we went and bought a new Buddy. As he hadn’t gotten his license yet, I got to drive it home, very carefully.
The next day I went to work, and my husband drove down to the DMV and got his license, pumped to get back and start zoom zoom zooming. Well, he did, but it was a rainy day, and later in the afternoon I got a call.
“I have some good news and some bad news,” he said. “I put the first scratch in our scooter” (to which I thought our? really, it’s MINE.), but I’m okay.”
I have already begun to anthropomorphize the scooter, sad that it’s outside without the cover (that hasn’t arrived at the dealer yet), and that it has scratches on its flank. I think a spiffy new seat cover would be just the thing to ease the pain.
Don’t you?
OK, I’ve picked a winner for giveaway #5! and I’m also putting a bit of a twist on this particular giveaway, so read the whole post:
Carolee — congratulations, you are the recipient of the $20 scooter seat covers gift certificate! Please email me your mailing address and I’ll get it out to you. (I’d be happy to send it to someone else, but it sounds like you really need it).
And because I happen to know the owner of the company, and I’m feeling festive, heavy vino, Alisha, Simon, & Constance - I’d like to give each of you a $10 gift certificate for yourself or for someone else, just let me know where to send it.
thank you for participating, and keep an eye open for another giveaway soon!
Aaagggh, I just checked back to see who won and the letter I sent on Thursday isn’t in your list of entries…..sigh, there goes my matching leopard seat cover dream.
So? who did win?
Constance, you are in the list! See my last comment just before yours?
Crystal,
Upon further checking I realized I hadn’t opened this page, just the quick look version on your home page.
Thank you so much for including all of us in your festive giving; it’s an early surprise gift and I’m thrilled!
