gift idea: Vespa Vagabond prints
Published by Crystal October 24th, 2007 in gifts, riders.
Fans of the site Vespa Vagabond, published by photographer Shreve Stockton, can now buy high quality 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 prints of her work. Check out her photo site here.
If you haven’t read about Shreve’s scooter trip across the U.S., I’d recommend taking some time to read it. From August 1st to October 1st, 2005, Shreve rode her Vespa ET4 from San Francisco to New York City, and many of the prints she is selling are from this adventure.
The photo shown here, Old Convict Road, Montana, is one from her trip. Used with permission.

I am an avid fan of Shreve’s Vespa Vagabond. Her cross-country journey, a female all alone on the backroads of the US, inspires me to live life fearlessly and to rethink the “rules” and “common sense” we are fed daily.
Shreve’s ride has taught me that rules are made to be broken.
And, reality is ours, and ours alone, to make.
I used to live in Montana, and the picture is so nostalgic. I wish I had owned a scooter then….
