I realize as I write this that I have never even seen a Vino 125 in person (I lead a very sheltered life), and yet now one of my favorite daily stops is the Vino 125 Girls Yahoo! group. Founded in August 2005, the Vino 125 Girls Clubhouse now has almost 80 members and generates nearly 250 messages a week.

Why do I love it, even though I don’t have the right scooter? The enthusiasm and endearment these women have for their scooters and scootering is absolutely contagious. They talk about tech mods to mod accessories - and you’ll definitely find a lot of “girl” talk here among the topics (can you say pink Supergirl lunchboxes?). That’s OK, since there’s no need to compete with or replace the very popular Vino 125 Yahoo! group that most of the Girls seem to belong to, too. Check it out, but be prepared for a lot of enthusiastic mail in your in-box.
