daily stop: urbanscootin forum

It’s been a long time since I’ve owned a Honda Metropolitan, but I still make at least one daily stop at urbanscootin. Granted, I’m one of the moderators so I’m sorta suppose to stop over, but I’m pretty sure I would even if I wasn’t.
Even though Jeff, the founder/owner/moderator, has kept the tag line “Honda Metropolitan Scooter Forum,” there are a growing number of its over 800 members, like me, who have other scooters. Most started out with a Metropolitan or Metropolitan II and enjoyed the group so much they stayed. Others just heard about the forum and joined up because they’d heard good things about it. There are a couple Stella Fireball owners, at least two Burgman owners, many Vino owners and a good solid showing of Vespa riders and Honda Ruckus riders. Members have Bajajs, TGBs, Ventos, Honda Elites and random other brands and models. A few don’t have scooters at all. Topics range from Motorcycle Safety Foundation courses, accessories, clothes, parking, rallies, helmet choice, beginner tips, long-distance scootering, commuting, modding and upgrading, safety on the road, you name it.
Other than the Mechanical-Technical section of the forum which concentrates on the Honda Metropolitan and Metropolitan II, nearly every section is non-brand or model specific. I might be a bit biased, but it’s a great place, and if you haven’t been there you should stop over, no matter what scooter you ride.

i really think urban scootin is a great site, but i also came across another site with scooter reviews and a forum
its called http://www.scootersales.com.au
