If you already have enough scooters in your garage and want to build a good shelf collection, there’s a fleet to buy at Wal-Mart. Not every location may stock the item, but this Girlbike Scooter-Fanatic Shopper has located a good Vespa starter kit.
Line ‘em up, make vroom-vroom noises and imagine the put-put of tiny scooters idling on your desk. Roll ‘em out one by one or stage a race before the kids ruin your fun. These are made of metal and they are 1:18 models of real Vespas. The colors are shown. If you still have room in your garage, buy a real one. Or fill any remaining shelf space—that you won’t be dusting anyway—with these. They are $9.96 for the package. Hey, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and, uh, something else to celebrate are all on the calendar ahead. Hurry!

I’m so bummed! Walmart online doesn’t have this package and this looks like the perfect gift for my sister for M-day.
I found it at my Walmart in Roseville, CA - There’s one more left so any Sacramento area vespa riders can purchase the last one! Thanks for the posting - I would have never shopped down the toy isle to see if they had di-cast Vespa models. Who knew!
FYI
I purchased the same set on ebay, for a similar price, however, you need to pay shipping. (About a month ago) Still a great deal!
No need to panic…Wal-Mart seems to have them every season. I have two sets — one to open the package and “play with”, one set to keep mint in the box to admire. I received one as a gift a few years ago and one I bought. Wal-Mart had singles for about $2 each, and then the set of 5 for $10. I had a single Vespa GT on eBay that someone had broken up the set and sold separately before someone in a scooter group mentioned they found them in W-M. Of course, there are people who do not buy anything from Wally World even if their life depended on it.
I found one of the sets of Vespas that Lisa mentioned a couple of years ago, but I haven’t been able to find this new set.
Is there any place besides Wal-Mart that sells these?
Cynthia
The company on the back of the box has a website.
