Well, since nothing has gone drastically wrong with my scooter mechanically lately - ::: knock on wood ::: - I decided to be daring and buy a roll of 50 foot chrome trim from JCWhitney.com. First, I did my windshield, and then decided to also do the front and rear fenders. I like the look; check out the close-up by clicking on the small "click for a close-up" image.

The only trouble with a 50-foot roll of chrome trim is that it’s very easy to end up with 40 feet or so left over…

I’ve since removed the chrome front rack and horn cover (up for auction on ebay). Only a couple more days to bid, so get on over there, if you want it… And speaking of ebay, I hope to have a few more items up over the weekend, so bid high and help me to buy groceries.
