While this is the time of year the industry is focusing on Interbike and all the new 2006 products, I happened to find some interesting fashions from last year, including the Two-person Steel Cycle Roadster over at Overstock.com. It’s a festive side-by-side ride for two (and there’s a trundle seat for the little ones). Almost as cool is the Four-person Steel Quad-Cycle Roadster - a four-wheel, four person bicycle featuring “rack and pinion steering, a steering wheel, hydraulic disc brakes, aluminum mag wheels, padded seats, cup holders, and even head lights.” You won’t win the Tour with either one, but you’ll sure get a lot of attention, and burn a few calories at the same time.
